Large Fire Destroys Home And Damages Another In New Castle

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (KDKA) — Fire destroyed one house and damaged another in New Castle on Thursday.

From across the street, crews sprayed water on the fully-engulfed house on Bell Avenue and Mitchell Street. The fire melted rubber parts on the firetrucks stationed out front.
Investigators are expected to be back on Friday to see if an accelerant was used due to how quickly the fire spread.
