Homes Evacuated Due To Gas Leak Concerns After Crash In Westmoreland Co.

HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) — Homes in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County were evacuated late Tuesday night due to concerns about a possible gas leak.
The evacuations started shortly after a car crashed into a utility pole and a Peoples Gas limiting station along Swede Hill Road.  The call came in to 911 around 11:12 p.m. on Monday.
