Harmar bald eagle takes to the air

The first flight of a young bald eagle from a nest in Harmar occurred at about 10:45 a.m. Tuesday. Despite some summer foliage hiding parts of the nest, the fledging was captured by a live-streaming video camera operated by the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania.
