Gov. Wolf warns of 'dire' consequences if budget not balanced soon

HARRISBURG — Democratic Gov. Wolf on Tuesday urged House Republicans to take swift action to balance the budget or risk putting Pennsylvania in a “much more dire financial situation” that could include painful spending cuts.
