Florida Deputy Credited With Saving Unresponsive Baby’s Life

OCALA, Fla. (AP) – A Florida sheriff’s deputy is credited with saving a baby’s life after rushing the unresponsive infant to a hospital.
The Ocala StarBanner reports the Marion County Sheriff’s Office says in a statement that K9 Deputy Jeremie Nix saved the baby Wednesday. The release says Nix was driving home when he was flagged down by a passing car. Dashcam footage shows the two cars pulling over and a woman handing Nix a baby.
