First Egg Spotted In Hays Bald Eagle Nest

HAYS (KDKA) – The bald eagles in Hays are caring for a newly laid egg.
According to the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania, the egg was spotted Tuesday morning.Watch The Hays Bald Eagle CameraOne of the adult eagles will now constantly stay in the nest to incubate the egg. The egg is expected to hatch in about 35 days.
This news comes nearly a year to the day of their previous nest being destroyed when a tree toppled during a wind storm.
