Fire Guts Lawrence County Home

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Pa. (KDKA) – A house in South New Castle Borough was gutted by fire on Monday evening.
Smoke and flames were reported at the home on the 1900 block of Prospect Street shortly after 4 p.m.
The homeowner was not home at the time of the fire after water pipes had previously burst and the furnace went out as a reult of the Polar Vortex. His insurance company was paying for him to be in a hotel while repairs were being made.
