Family artifacts reveal a grandfather's war service as a 'Ritchie Boy'

Jay Haarburger’s grandfather was 17 when he and his parents secured passage on the SS America in Le Havre, France, in 1938. They had left Frankfurt, Germany, traveling at the pace of a train but with flight in their hearts.
