Environmental groups urge tougher rules enforcement on Clairton Coke Works

The environmental group PennFuture took its “Toxic Neighbor” campaign to the Allegheny County Health Department board meeting Wednesday, saying a lack of leadership has resulted in chronic air pollution from U.S. Steel Corp.’s Clairton Coke Works that is damaging public health.
