DEP and Range Resources settle appeal over Marcellus well gas leaks

Pennsylvania environmental regulators and natural gas company Range Resources-Appalachia LLC have reached a settlement over a Lycoming County shale gas well that the state Department of Environmental Protection said leaked methane into groundwater, streams and private water wells beginning in 2011.
