Crash On Parkway East Detour Route Causes Congestion

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A crash caused congestion on the Parkway East detour route Saturday afternoon.
Steve Cowan with PennDOT reports that the crash occurred on outbound I-376 Parkway East near the Oakland/Forbes Avenue exit around 12:45 p.m.
The exit is being used as a detour route since the Parkway East is closed for the weekend.
Around 2 p.m., Cowan said the crash had been cleared, but motorists should still expect heavy congestion.
