Coronavirus In Pennsylvania: Officials To Begin Providing Unemployed With Extra $600 Per Week

HARRISBURG (KDKA) — Some extra money will be coming to those on unemployment.
Pennsylvania will begin implementing new federal unemployment benefits next week.
Those who file will be eligible for an extra $600 per week through mid-July.
Those who are self-employed, independent contractors or gig workers are eligible for benefits.Unemployment compensation benefits are also extended for an additional 13 weeks.
