Conduct Board: District Judge Improperly Pursued Clerk

AMBRIDGE, Pa. (AP) – The state Judicial Conduct Board says a western Pennsylvania district judge improperly pursued a romantic interest in one of his clerks and otherwise had an improper demeanor.
Ambridge District Judge Andrew Hladio denies the allegations, but doesn’t think it’s proper to comment in more detail until the complaint is heard by the Court of Judicial Discipline. That court has the power to discipline Hladio, up to removing him from office.
