Clairton, Monessen hit with 5-year probation, other penalties after game brawls

The WPIAL board of directors slapped five-year probations and other penalties Monday on all Monessen and Clairton High School sports programs as well as fans and players after fights broke out in the fourth quarter of a boys’ basketball game between the schools Feb. 6 at Clairton High School.
