Black farmers finding their way in Pennsylvania

KUTZTOWN, Pa. — A slinking winter sun made Ray Chavous’ chestnut and sandy mares glow in the fields of his Berks County farm. He fished a pinch of tobacco from his flannel shirt, rolled a smoke, and stepped into a weather-worn shed.
