Bethany Hallam tops challenger to keep her Allegheny County Council seat and keep progressives rolling

Allegheny County Councilwoman Bethany Hallam appeared to win the Democratic primary election to retain her seat, as the first-term progressive fended off a more centrist Democrat who tried to recapture the seat for the party’s establishment wing.
