Authorities Say 1,000 Affected By Moon Twp. Gas Leak; Warming Center Set Up

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) – Emergency personnel were on the scene of a large gas leak in Moon Township on Saturday morning, and a warming center has been set up for customers who are without heat while fixes are being made.

Authorities evacuated some residents in the 100 block of Western Avenue, and about 1,000 total people are affected by the shutoff. Peoples Gas has begun contacting customers to arrange rest
