Aramark Furloughs More Than 1,200 Employees

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – More than 1,200 Aramark employees are now out of work.According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the concession company has furloughed employees that work at PPG Paints Arena and PNC Park.An Aramark spokesperson says the furloughs are because of seasonal-event based positions.They hope to rehire these employees when attendance restrictions are lifted.
