Allegheny County Jail Expands Partnership With Carnegie Library

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – After a controversy over books inside the Allegheny County Jail, the county has expanded its partnership with the Carnegie Library.According to the county, the library will provide expanded access to more E-books and audiobooks for inmates.Last month, the jail suspended family and friends from ordering books for inmates.The policy was decided on due to an investigation involving contraband.
