19-Year-Old Man Found Fatally Shot In Vacant Lot

HOMEWOOD (KDKA) — A young man who had been shot several times was found dead in Homewood on Saturday morning.
The body of John Davern, 19, was found around 9:15 a.m. in the 7100-block of Upland Street.
According to police, officers and paramedics were sent to the scene for a report that a man had been found unresponsive in a vacant lot.
Davern was from Beltzhoover. He had been shot at least four times.
