Spring-Ford teacher contract talks set to begin in June

ROYERSFORD >> Just as they did the week before, hundreds of Spring-Ford teachers union members filled the high school cafeteria for the school board meeting Monday night demanding contract negotiations begin. And it appears their lobbying efforts may be beginning to pay off. About 220 Spring-Ford Education Association union members were in attendance for the board meeting, once again dressed in light blue T-shirts and holding pieces of paper that read "Forward together for a fair contract.
