Inside NW Dance Project's light-filled Central Eastside rehearsal space

NW Dance Project has brought dozens of renowned choreographers to Portland since its founding in 2004.
Inviting independent choreographers to work with the company's dancers has been a major contributor to its success. Another is the decision by founder Sarah Slipper, the subject of this week's PBJ Interview, to pay dancers a full-time salary, including benefits.
