Bulk of Oregon jobs opening up over coming decade will not require advanced degrees (Infographic)

Future job prospects are bright for Oregonians with only a high school diploma or less – at least in terms of the raw number of positions opening up over the coming decade.
Between 2017 and 2027, the Oregon Employment Department projects 246,014 new jobs will be added to the state’s workforce, a 12 percent increase. Another 2.4 million existing positions will also need fresh recruits over that time.
