Adidas to close U.S. factory outside Atlanta

Adidas on Monday said it will close a U.S. factory outside Atlanta and move the facility's technology to Asia.
In 2015, the German company, which has its North American headquarters in Portland, announced it would open "Speedfactories" in the United States and Germany.The factories were considered a way for the company to use automated manufacturing technology to shift production closer to consumers, reducing shipping costs and accelerating product development. Nike and other sportswear companie
