Lankford opposes returning to Obama-era Clean Power Plan

U.S. Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., voted Thursday to oppose a Senate Democrat-backed resolution that would undo the Environmental Protection Agency’s repeal of the Obama administration’s Clean Power Plan and also repeal the adoption of the Trump administration’s Affordable Clean Energy rule, issued in June 2019.
