When to see the Supermoon Partial Lunar Eclipse

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — You will want to watch the skies Tuesday evening for a Supermoon Partial Lunar Eclipse.
In Oklahoma there will be a small portion of the moon covered by the Earth's shadow.
KFOR Meteorologist Emily Sutton says this means you might see a sliver of the moon with a reddish hue.
The peak time is 9:44 p.m.According to NASA, the term "supermoon" was coined by astrologer Richard Nolle in 1979 as either a new or full Moon that occurs when the Moon is within 90% of its closes
