Screwworm fly found in Texas decades after eradication from U.S.

A parasite rarely seen in the U.S. over several decades was found in south Texas, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. A case involving the new world screwworm fly was found in a young calf about 50 miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas.
