Massive El Reno water leak traced to Bitcoin mining data center facility

El Reno officials say a leak that lost the city more than three million gallons of water originated from a private fire hydrant on a Bitcoin mining facility’s property—and neither the company nor the city has answered questions about who will be held accountable.
