Judge denies Glossip request for new preliminary hearing, sets third trial for September

A judge Tuesday denied Richard Glossip’s request for a new preliminary hearing ahead of his third trial for the 1997 murder of Oklahoma City motel owner Barry Van Treese, setting that trial to begin September 28.
