Bureau of Land Management offers opportunity to secure wild horses and burros

NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is hosting a two-day wild horse and burro purchasing or adoption event to include offering up to $1,000
dollars to adopt an untrained animal on October 4.According to BLM, the goal of the event is provide every horse and burro a safe home with an incentive for every animal in Idabel.Previously in July 2021, BLM leaders says, steps were taken to secure animals through its Adoption Incentive Program while maintaining its management goals.
