Archdiocese of Oklahoma City religious Sister Veronica Higgins passes at age 74

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Oklahomans are mourning after learning Sister Veronica Higgins of the Carmelite Sisters of St. Therese of the Infant Jesus died according to The Catholic News Agency (CNA)
Higgins died in a car accident Thursday, January 2.
According to authorities, the accident happened on Northwest Expressway and State Highway 3, four miles south of Okarche. Patrol reports confirm that Higgins' vehicle left the road, striking a tree and landing in a creek.Archbishop Paul Coakley of Oklah
