Any hopes for an early night in the presidential race between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump were shattered as Trump took an early lead sending more than a few Democratic voters and cable pundits into a panic and ended the night as America’s 45th President-elect.
The base for both parties apparently came to the polls at the last minute as twelve battleground states were too close to call for much of the evening. T
