Thousands lose electricity as ice downs power lines

The ice storm knocked out electricity for thousands of metro Detroiters on Tuesday morning, along with closing schools and disrupting traffic.In Lake Orion, DTE Energy reports that 4,213 customers lost power at 5:23 a.m. Tuesday due to ice on the power lines.
