Royal Oak OKs Diamond's Steakhouse and Seafood plan for downtown

The owner of the Howell-based Diamond's Steaks and Seafood restaurant is ready to open a second location in downtown Royal Oak now that his plan of operation has been approved by the city."We plan to have a destination restaurant in Royal Oak," said Adam Merkel. "We were fortunate enough to do that in Howell, where we serve 4,000 meals a week in a city with a population of about 9,000.
