Milford Salvage & Iron fire costs owner $80,000

Mike McDonald spotted a fire on his property at Milford Salvage and Iron on East Buno Road in Milford Township."The ash trees are dying and sometimes when they break, they twang a wire," said McDonald, who runs his business at 2823 E. Buno Road, east of S. Milford Road.The downed wire, he said, burned tires, a truck and trailer and plastic storage tank, creating a heavy, black plume of smoke.
