Charter school authorizers remain on hold: Snyder to propose reforms
State Superintendent Mike Flanagan announced Friday, Dec. 19 that he will take no immediate suspension decisions on the 11 charter school authorizers placed in "At-Risk of Suspension" status in August for now. Flanagan plans to wait to hear Gov. Rick Snyder's proposals for education reforms before making any immediate suspension decisions on the authorizers who were given until October to rectify any deficiencies.
