Apprenticeship opportunities and enrollment on the rise

At Oakland Community College's Auburn Hills campus recently, 15 apprentices gathered around state-of-the-art laptop computers to share ideas -- their education and equipment paid by their employer."I have companies calling me looking for second- and third-year apprentices," said Janene Erne, OCC's director of technology programs and apprenticeships.
