Nearly 15,000 nurses at private hospital systems, including Montefiore, have joined picket lines across the city.
The nurses’ union, the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA), called for the unfair labor strike on January 12th at 6 a.m., denouncing hospital leadership for refusing to address concerns on staffing, workplace safety and healthcare benefits.
