Train hits person at Penn Station

A train has struck a person who was on the tracks at Penn Station in Manhattan, disrupting service on the LIRR, the MTA said.LIRR service is suspended in both directions between Penn Station and Jamaica.The MTA is honoring LIRR fares on the 7 subway between Woodside and 42nd Street in Manhattan, the E train between Jamaica and Penn, and the 2 and 3 trains between Penn and Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn.
