After over a year of contractor woes, DOB scuffles and other related, assorted headaches, Chuko 2.0 is finally a go in Bushwick.
And while original plans for the sizable, Evergreen Avenue plot included an expanded menu and beer garden, owner/chefs Jamison Blankenship and David Koon have elected not to reinvent the wheel—they’ll continue to churn out vintage Chuko favorites from a steamy open kitchen that overlooks a sake bar lined with stuffed Pokémon.
