Police union blasts De Blasio over 'fear' comment

Comments made by Mayor Bill de Blasio over concerns for his son's safety at the hands of the NYPD has the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association seeing red. The remarks came after the decision by a grand jury on Staten Island not to indict the police officer involved in the choke hold death of Eric Garner. "For so many of our young people there is a fear. I've had to worry over the years, is Dante safe each night? Safe from the very people they want to have faith as their protectors."
