Perils of late-night eating
For those attempting to resist the temptation of a fourth or fifth meal, the late-night offerings in New York City prove a formidable adversary. A study out of BYU blames not will power or genetics or appetite for these cravings, but our brain. Evening eats often fail to give us the same "food high" we receive from meals earlier in the day, sending us searching for edible satisfaction long after we fill our stomachs.
