Paramount Theatre Returns to the Spotlight

There was once a 4,000-seat venue in Downtown Brooklyn which, in the middle of last century, played hosted to performers like Dizzy Gillespie, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, and Buddy Holly. Chuck Berry twisted across its stage; Brenda Lee, America’s “Little Miss Dynamite,” serenaded its crowd.
