NYPD testing tiny Smart cars

The NYPD is investing in micro-cars. The department purchased several two-seat Smart cars, made by Mercedes-Benz, to replace its ancient fleet of rickety one-seat three-wheeled scooters, Police Commissioner Bill Bratton said. The Smart cars have white-and-blue paint jobs to match their bigger siblings in the NYPD fleet.
