NYPD steps up security

NYPD brass insist no specific threat exists against the city this holiday weekend. But given recent terror attacks overseas, theyre ramping up coverage to unprecedented levels so that the fireworks and other festivities can go on as planned. Police Commissioner Bill Bratton was joined by his top chiefs and deputy commissioners as they outlined plans to protect the people of New York City from ISIS and any lone wolves intent on death and destruction.
