NYPD finds dogs in sweaters inside empty home

Cops responding to a call for a possible burglary at a house in Brooklyn didn't find thieves but did find a bunch of fuzzy intruders -- eight Maltese mix pups wearing doggie sweaters, the Post reported. The building was supposed to be unoccupied. The landlord heard noises from inside and called police. Officers brought them to the precinct until Animal Care Control could check them out.
