Major service changes for subways, Metro-North, LIRR, PATH

Gov. Andrew Cuomo has declared a State of Emergency for New York City, Westchester, Long Island and other counties in anticipation of the blizzard.  Subway service in New York City will be severely reduced beginning at 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. Metro-North and Long Island Rail Road will be shut down beginning at 11 p.m.  PATH service will continue on a regular schedule until 9 p.m. and then go on a weekend schedule.  A travel ban is being considered on all main roads beginning at 11 p.m.
