Freezing rain, snow, sleet for NYC

A winter weather advisory is in effect for the New York City area until Tuesday morning. The National Weather Service says Monday's forecast calls for freezing rain, snow and sleet.Schools reported closings and delayed openings on Monday. Untreated surfaces can become slippery. Snow accumulations are expected to be up to one inch with around a tenth of an inch of ice.Commuters can expect freezing rain for their morning commute.
