FIFA officials indicted; criminal investigation into World Cups

Five FIFA soccer officials were arrested and 14 indicted Wednesday in a U.S. corruption probe. U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch says the "indictment shows FIFA corruption is rampant, systemic, deep-rooted abroad and in the U.S." Hours later, Swiss federal prosecutors opened criminal proceedings related to the awarding of the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
