Emotional tributes to murdered NYPD cops

Mayor Bill de Blasio, First Lady Chirlane McCray, and City Hall staffers observed a moment of silence at 2:47 p.m. Tuesday. That was the exact time Officer Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos were gunned down on Saturday. At the corner of Tompkins and Myrtle Avenues where the two officers were shot and killed, a shrine to their service grows. Officers and residents of the community observed the moment of silence there.
